"Border guards of everyday life"

Border guards of everyday life

Shouting: "Pass!!!", "Who are you visiting?", "You can't come here!". And we automatically take
out the documents. The everyday space is divided into zones. Zones of cities and enterprises,
coverage areas and suburban transportation zones, zones of direct subordination and
strict regime. And these areas must be protected from unauthorized
entry (intrusion). The state cannot cope with so many borders.
Hundreds of thousands of "private individuals" come to the aid of the police with the army: watchmen, vigilantes,
watchmen, concierges, guards – today almost a million Russians are engaged in security.
Yuri Ivanovich is a former commander of one of the airborne units. He took part
in combat operations in Afghanistan. Currently retired. He works part-time in
a private security company created by "Afghan" soldiers. During one of
the battles, he carried two wounded comrades from the battlefield. He has state awards.

Alexander Sergeevich is a former lieutenant colonel of the Ural Military District of Aleksin, Tula region. He has
done two business trips to Chechnya during the second company. Participated in operations
together with Ramzan Kadyrov.

Alexey Alexandrovich is a former fire truck driver who served in
the security department of one of the nuclear power plants. He was trained in a special
program on psychological and physical resilience during
emergencies. Currently retired, he works in a PSC, guards warehouses. He has two
daughters, one of whom was born with Down syndrome. At the hospital, they offered to give up
the child. The girl graduated from school and is now an indispensable helper in
the household.

Mikhail – always looking for a job "don't hit a lying man"... but a job that gives power over
the average person.

Sanya Panov is a conscript sailor on guard duty at the cruiser Aurora. The army provides
an opportunity not only to visit the war, but also to see other cities in Russia.

He said his name was Nikolai. He works as a security guard at a school. I didn't want
to be filmed. During the conversation, he said that he had served on a nuclear-powered submarine
as the commander of one of the warheads (combat unit). During the hike, a fire broke out in one of the compartments
. To save the crew and the cruiser, such a compartment is hermetically sealed and
the fire extinguishing system is activated. He knew that there were still sailors there, but... they are
currently retired.

Dmitry is a guard at the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet. A.Ya. He told me that they,
the guards, were forbidden to act. If his management finds out, he'll be
in trouble. In fact, he turned out to be a former policeman. I don't have enough pension to live
on, so I had to go to work.

He has no civilian profession, so
he joined the security service.

Roman – has no education, has no profession. It's related to disability.
I don't have enough disability pension to live on, so I was looking for some kind of job. Due to family
ties, he got a job as a watchman in a CAS (cooperative parking lot), in
garages among the common people. They bring him old clothes, including how he got
a police cap. I am ready to do any household work in the cooperative.
Sometimes he accepts several bottles of beer for payment, which is why he began to suffer from alcoholism.

Marina Martinyanovna is a former radio installer, then worked at
a film photocopying factory, supervised the machine that applied the perforation to the
film. His last job was as a conductor on public transport.
Currently retired. He works part-time as a parking supervisor at
a business center.

Timur – it so happened that he did not receive further education after school.
I've been looking for a job for a long time. But without education, the options that were offered were not satisfied.
He completed training courses for private security guards and received a license for this type
of activity. Currently, the shift supervisor is at the Manege Central exhibition hall.
